A photography club is coming UMass Dartmouth! Despite challenges in attracting members and meeting the 10-member threshold for official recognition, initial meetings have drawn in students from across all majors and years. The club expects official recognition next semester as long as it can acquire a treasurer, an advisor, and a finalized constitution.

The Student Media Collaborative (SMC) at UMass Dartmouth is holding its first media boot camp on podcasting on November 15th. The initiative aims to boost student voices and offer practical skills for budding podcasters. Furthermore, the SMC plans to host more learning events, create more episodes and programs, and provide internships and communication opportunities for students across all fields.
