Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been legally separated since 2022, yet their relationship continues to be discussed in the media.

Just recently, the Kardashian superstar was “forced to file a cease and desist” against him due to his dangerous and concerning social media posts.

In a series of now-deleted tweets, Kanye called Kim his “nanny” and referred to her sex tape from 2008 with her ex-boyfriend at the time, stating, “Told Ray J we need to hit Kim from both sides for that Superstar part two.”

Not only did he take digs at Kim, he involved their child, North West, in his onslaught of controversy by dropping a song on X (which he later deleted, like many of his posts) titled, “LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE.” The song features his daughter, North West, Diddy (Puff Daddy), and Diddy’s son Christian “King” Combs.

According to TMZ, the song begins with a voice (most likely Diddy’s) telling Kanye that “he appreciates him taking care of his kids and reaching out.” Kanye explains to Diddy that he raised him, even when they didn’t know each other, with a voice belonging to Diddy saying, “He’s feeling a lot of love.”

As many may be aware, Diddy is involved in an ongoing investigation related to sex trafficking, sexual assault, solicitation, and distribution of illegal drugs and firearms, with many of these charges involving minors.

Before Kanye released the song, meetings took place between the two parents with lawyers present, where they agreed he would not release the version of the song with North’s part.

Yet he released it anyway.

This led to Kim sending the cease and desist, after which Kanye took to X to share screenshots between the two of them.

A message from Kim reads, “So stop. I sent paperwork so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to protect her. One person has to trademark! We agreed when they were born I would get all our kids’ names and trademarks. So no one else would take them”

Kanye responded with, “Amend it, or I am going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me.”

Kim is also working to take full custody of their four children–North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West. She is known for doing the most to protect the children from their dad’s behavior; however, as West becomes increasingly more hostile and radical, this balance has become harder to maintain.

In one deleted X post, Kanye said, “I DON’T LIKE THAT TWIGS HAS MY DAUGHTER IN HER VIDEO DRESSING ALL GROWN I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED MORE FROM TWIGS.”

He also accused the Kardashian family of exploiting their children, going as far as calling them “sex workers” who “sex traffic all of the Black children they strategically produce.”

Kim isn’t the only star going after Kanye for his inappropriate posts. Taylor Swift also sent a cease and desist after Kanye tweeted earlier this month, “I’M MAD I HAVEN’T FUCKED TAYLOR SWIFT… YET.”

He followed up with another that read, “Justin Bieber and Harry Styles fucked Taylor Swift from both sides and didn’t call me” ending with “ON EVERYTHIING THIS TWEET IS ONE THOUSAND PERCENT TRUE.”

An even more disturbing aspect of this situation is that when North was visiting her father in the studio to record the song, Andrew and Tristian Tate, who are currently under investigation for sexual misconduct, human trafficking, and money laundering, were also supposed to be there.

However, as soon as Kim found out, she called an emergency custody meeting.

Some sources are blaming his recent behavior on his use of nitrous oxide, an anesthetic that can induce euphoria, dissociation, and hallucinogenic states of mind.

A former employee of Yeezy, Kanye’s fashion brand, revealed to the New York Post that Kanye’s “memory is so messed up” to the point that “you can kind of convince him of things and he doesn’t really fact-check them… If you say it with enough conviction at the right time, he’ll believe it.”

When talking about Kanye, Kim explained, “ It’s not getting any better, he’s not a well person, he’s sinking further down and he’s not acting rationally.”

The legal implications of a cease and desist letter are very low stakes, only being a warning to the receiver to immediately halt offensive activity before further action is taken. However, if the recipient continues the reported behavior, the cease and desist can be used as evidence later down the line.
