Universal Orlando is getting a massive revamp, with a total of 5 new areas for kids and adults to immerse themselves.

This massive addition is the third park to the Universal roster, aptly named Epic Universe, covering all sorts of new areas to explore.

The areas are as follows: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™: Ministry of Magic™, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™, How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and Celestial Park.

Each area includes various new places to shop, explore, and ride new rides. Just like in the previous areas, there are all sorts of places you can look around and adventure into to truly engulf in the created worlds.

For starters, the Harry Potter experience is offering one new ride called Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry™ and three new themed dining experiences.

For the Super Nintendo World, there are two separate areas for Nintendo fans to explore: Super Mario Land™ and the Donkey Kong Country™. There are also 3 new rides and 4 new places to dine along with a few places to pick up some Mario merch.

The How to Train Your Dragon area is highly anticipated with three new rides centered around the thrill of taking on dragons and maybe possibly them.

The two last areas, Dark Universe and Celestial Park, are two of the lesser known areas of the addition, but they are just as fun and exciting as the rest.

Dark Universe provides a more scary approach for the fans of horror and spooky experiences. On the other hand, Celestial Park is more focused on a space-like atmosphere.

Both additions share new and exciting new coasters for visitors to look forward to along with some dining and shopping experiences.

No matter where you go, the spectacles the park pulls off are nothing short of amazing. They have meticulously crafted worlds that are breathtakingly immersive.

In the Isle of Berk, there are plenty of animatronics that mimic the dragons seen in the movie. The entire surrounding area is decorated to look like the Viking villages from top to bottom.

Although this grand new addition to the park has not been available to the masses quite yet, a select few have been given the ability to visit the park before its grand reveal.

According to Deadline, Universal Studios “invited a group of fans and theme park social media types for a live-action preview.” This was likely a stunt to create hype and test the waters to see if their large addition was worth the wait and money.

Thankfully, everyone was extremely wowed by the work done in each area. There have been plenty of videos and pictures posted across social media of the new attractions for every newcomer to see.

As per usual, the express passes are available for the Epic Universe, giving the guests the ability to skip the regular lines and get onto the rides faster.

Epic Universe is set to premier on May 22nd of 2025, giving everyone enough time to try and get their hands on an express pass to enjoy the fun as quickly as possible.

On top of the express pass, Universal Orlando is offering a VIP tour for the Epic Universe, starting at $299.99 per person according to USA Today.

There is so much for fans of any type to look forward to with this broad new world to discover. Universal Studios went the lengths to ensure that fans of each area will not be disappointed.

Whether you’re a fan of training dragons, or if you’d rather be a Wizard and escape from our normal reality, there’s likely a place for you in the new Epic Universe.
