On September 13th, 2023, two mummified corpses were presented to Mexico’s Congress. Images of the supposed corpses flooded social media and news outlets, completely taking over the internet in a horrifyingly unusual and fascinating way.
The bodies have large and oddly shaped heads, with unnaturally long arms, and hands adorned with three long fingers. They maintain a humanoid facial structure, with two eyes and a mouth. The corpses overall possessed human-like skeletons.
But, the images have been debunked as simply another stunt.
Jaime Maussan, a Mexican journalist and UFO fanatic, told Congress that the bodies were unearthed in 2017, a whole six years ago. One of the two bodies was said to have eggs inside – indicating one was male and one was female. He also claimed that the bodies can be dated back to over 1,000 years ago.
Maussan said, “It is the most important thing that has happened to humanity.” He continued, “I believe that this phenomenon is the only one that gives us the opportunity to unite.”
Keep in mind that these bodies were proven to be fake. Proven!
With this being a well-known fact, the lengths to which Maussan went to are truly remarkable. He said that the bodies have undergone extensive carbon dating and DNA tests to prove the bodies are truly otherworldly.

According to Vox, “Scientists pushed back against the hoax, pointing out that the ‘alien’ remains appeared to be human. “This mummy is an archaeological mummy from which two fingers have been removed, and the number of phalanges increased on the remaining three fingers.”
The bodies are actually human bodies that have been modified!
According to a study conducted by the faculty of Cyprus University of Technology in 2021, the hands and fingers are made from two different sets of human bones, and the elongated head was made from “a deteriorated llama braincase and other unidentified bones.”
However, this is not the first time Maussan created false evidence and presented it.
According to Vox, this includes a skinned monkey being labeled as the ‘Metepec Creature.’ He also played a role in the infamous ‘Roswell Slides,’ which also presented a mummified body that turned out to be the body of a deceased two-year-old child.
One of his greatest and most known ‘evidence’ of strange things on earth is his famous ‘Demon Fairy,’ which went viral in 2016 and 2017. This proved to be a jumble of epoxy, sticks, and other materials.
Following the UFO Congressional Hearing back in late July of this year, it seems Maussan and his team picked the perfect time to unveil their cold, hard ‘evidence’ to the public.
Until there is actual evidence of extraterrestrial life here on earth, alive or deceased, it seems tricks like these will still be played publicly.
