A new documentary about Chris Brown came out on October 27. “Chris Brown: History of Violence” is directed by the same network that brought the world “Quiet on Set”-  a documentary about the Dan Schneider allegations and the history of abuse on Nickelodeon.

This documentary will explore his “domestic violence and assault charges and sexual assault allegations.” according to Variety. The documentary is set to explain his pathology—going into his troubled childhood and exposing his history of abuse.

In this documentary, we will see how this superstar maintains his many fans with many assault charges and sexual assault allegations. Chris Brown started his music career when he was 13; he was discovered at his father’s radio station.

He dropped out of high school at 16 and released his debut album on November 29, 2005, through Jive Records. The debut album hit the charts at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and sold over three million copies in the U.S.

Ever since February 8, 2009, when the abuse became public with his superstar girlfriend, Rihanna. He punched, bit, and choked Rihanna, and she was hospitalized with severe injuries. Brown turned himself in to the police immediately following the incident. Chris Brown has gone downhill, with more abuse and violence towards others.

Following the attack, Chris Brown was ordered to serve community service, and a restraining order was placed upon Brown by Rihanna.

Two years after the restraining order and court-ordered community service, Chris Brown was set to be interviewed on Good Morning America.

He stormed off stage after performing a new song from his second album, F.A.M.E., and threw his chair in his dressing room in Times Square. Even after that, fans praised Chris Brown’s music. Even after that, fans praised Chris Brown’s music.

However, later that year, Chris was found fighting with Drake in a New York Club, who also reportedly dated Rihanna in 2011.

The list shows how many horrible things Chris Brown has done over the years with charge after charge. With hit and runs back in June 2013, being in a rehab center, going to jail, the list goes on. Then, on January 27, 2013, Chris Brown fought with Frank Ocean over a parking space.

Later that year, in October, Chris Brown was arrested for assault for punching someone outside a hotel after the photo bombed his picture with two random girls. Chris was later sent to rehab and shared that he would be continuing treatment for anger issues as an outpatient in Los Angeles.

In July 2024, Chris and his entire team are facing legal action over an assault charge at a concert in Fort Worth, Texas. In the lawsuit, Chris and four other guys completely jumped a guy backstage unprovoked. The attack included “throwing chairs at them, and repeatedly kicking, stomping, and beating them.”

Brown and his entourage attacked the defendant: Conway, Hood Boss (a.k.a. Omololu Omari Akinlolu), and Sinko Ceej. Despite all the bad press and assault charges, Brown’s is still working with and promoting him on tour.

The reason for the lawsuit is that the company encouraged him and made money off him; Live Nation failed to ensure the people who went to the concert did ensure their safety.
