Sports Illustrated Facing Backlash Over AI-Generated Articles

Sports Illustrated is under scrutiny for publishing AI-generated articles by non-existent authors with fake profile images. The profiles and associated articles were repeatedly replaced as suspicions rose. The articles were apparently created by AdVon Commerce, a third-party company. Despite confirmation from an insider source, Sports Illustrated denies any AI involvement, insisting the work was human-authored.
