Coming soon to a theatre near you: The 10th annual Variety Show

By Alex Kerravala, Contributing Writer

What could be better than getting to see a dozen talented singers, dancers, and comedians, all within your school? Why, getting to give to charity, as well!

That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, coming soon is the 10th annual joint 20 Cent Fiction/TCo Variety Show!

For those who don’t know, the variety show is a talent show, open to any and all students to participate in or attend. The show consists mainly of singing and dancing, but also some rapping, and even a Bo Burnham skit, as someone performed last year.

I can happily say that, as someone who has attended talent shows in the past put on by peers, nothing beats the feeling of getting to cheer on friends or even just colleagues as they pour their heart and soul into entertaining you.

Any talent you’d love to show off is welcome, and you are more than encouraged to attend, to not only support your school and your peers, but charity as well!

The show is free to attend, but donations are welcome as well! All money that is donated is going to the joint theatre companies’ Relay for Life team, so anything you graciously give will be there to help fight cancer.

A fun evening with a free show to attend, watching your friends perform, and helping fight cancer – what’s not to enjoy?

The show is Friday, April 14 at 7 p.m. in CVPA 153. If you are available, please come support your community.
